Mommys, Daddys and Oh Nos!

Tom is really doing well with his speech.  He's trying so hard to talk like a big boy.  He's absolutely adorable when he talks, actually he's absolutely adorable all the time.  He most recently when talking adds an "s" to the end of as many words as possible.  For instance he calls me mommys, he says Bens, he says nos (instead of no), and he says he wants to drink milks.  You get the idea.  It's so cute.  He also has an aversion to consonants.  For instance when he wished Rachel a "happy birthday" he actually said "a-ee ir-ay".  When he says the word "outside" he actually says, "ow sigh".  When he says Woody (from Toys Story) he says "Woowee".  Did I mention he's adorable?  If you'd like further proof just give us a call and ask him what Buzz says.  He tries to say "to infinity and beyond."  He'll also tell you what Woody says, "reach for the sky."  I love my little mister.

Milken Joggin

Ok, I know that this is a really weird thing, but it is what it is.  A "milken joggin" is a piece that goes to the water sprinkler.  You know the kind, for playing in and running through.  We have this long water sprinkler that's shaped like a long snake and it wiggles around on the ground while shooting water all over the place.  The "milken joggins" are these blue pieces of plastic that snap onto the snake water sprinkler to keep it weighted down to the ground.  Weird right?  He's a creative boy, what can I say!

Gootoo Globby . . .aka Tom.

One of my favorite things about Ben is how silly he can be.  Sometimes he likes to make up words; for instance he made up the word: milken joggin.  It's the name for an object in our house.  Lets see if you can guess what the meaning of milken joggin.  (Those of you who may know, please don't spoil it for those who don't.)  Ben has also made up a nickname for Tom, Gootoo Globby.  It cracks me up.  I have no idea where he gets these strange names/words, but I love them.  He's so silly and I love him.
